Learning outcomes

Through a mixture of theory and practical course work, learn to:

Set out and construct carpentry elements for residential and commercial projects
Install frames, trusses, flooring, wall and ceiling linings, doors, windows and external cladding systems
Use carpentry tools and equipment safely, including power tools and stationary equipment where applicable
Interpret plans, measurements and specifications to meet tolerances and building requirements
Apply workplace safety, site coordination, and quality control practices throughout builds
