About this policy
All Skills College handles personal information provided through this website, our enquiry and Self Skills Assessment forms, and the enrolment portal. This policy explains what we collect, why we use it, when we may share it and how to contact us about your information.
02
What we collect
Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:
- Your name, contact details and address
- Course interests, work experience, evidence details and contact preferences
- Enrolment and student information used for training and assessment
- Portal activity, uploaded documents, acknowledgements and signatures
- Technical details such as IP address, browser or user agent, and submission time
- Approved campaign details from tagged links, such as source, medium and campaign name
- Limited Self Skills Assessment progress information after you begin interacting with the form
03
How we collect and use it
Most information comes directly from you when you submit a form, use the portal, upload a document or speak with our team.
We use relevant information to respond to enquiries, review possible pathways, manage enrolment and student services, communicate with you, protect our systems and meet applicable reporting or legal requirements.
04
Website analytics and campaign attribution
When you visit our website through a tagged campaign link, we may collect approved campaign details included in the link, such as the campaign source, medium, name, content, term, campaign ID, source platform, creative format and marketing tactic. We use this information to understand how people find the website and which campaigns lead to enquiries or completed assessments.
Advertising platforms may add a click identifier to a link. Our website may use the presence of that identifier to recognise the advertising platform, but does not retain its raw value in our attribution records, cookies, internal reports, exports or CRM notes. Campaign links and referring page addresses should not contain names, contact details or other personal information.
05
Attribution cookie
We use a dedicated attribution cookie to remember campaign information while you move through the website. The cookie contains only a signed, opaque random identifier. It does not contain campaign details, your name, contact details or assessment answers.
The attribution cookie expires after 90 days. If the cookie is blocked, missing or no longer valid, you can still browse the website and submit a form; the submission may simply have no campaign attribution. Cookie expiry removes the browser's attribution identifier but does not delete reporting information already stored by All Skills College.
06
Self Skills Assessment progress
After you begin interacting with the Self Skills Assessment, we record limited progress information against a random journey identifier. This may include the step reached, whether a step was completed, whether progress was blocked by validation and activity times. Opening the assessment without interacting with it does not create an engaged assessment record.
Progress tracking does not record partial answers, entered values, field names, validation messages, contact details, IP addresses or browser user agents. A signed assessment identifier and a bounded queue of progress metadata may be kept in same-tab browser storage so the journey can continue after a reload in that tab. Closing the tab or opening an independent tab starts a separate progress journey.
Before you submit the assessment, progress records are not linked to your name or contact details. If you complete and submit the assessment, the progress journey is linked to that locally saved submission for completion and abandonment reporting.
07
Internal reporting and retention
When you submit a contact enquiry, course enquiry or Self Skills Assessment, available campaign information may be linked to the locally saved submission. This helps us understand first-touch and last-touch campaign performance and where people leave the assessment process.
Campaign and assessment-progress reports are available only through protected internal administration. Privacy-safe report exports exclude names, email addresses, phone numbers, IP addresses, browser user agents and raw identifiers. Campaign attribution and assessment-progress details are not added to CRM records or notes.
We retain campaign attribution and metadata-only assessment-progress records indefinitely, without an automated expiry date, so historical reporting remains consistent. Retention of other personal information depends on why it is held and any applicable legal, regulatory or record-keeping requirements.
09
Cookies and third-party services
We use cookies needed for website and portal security, sign-in and core functionality. Some pages use third-party map and location services, which may receive technical information when they load.
Browser history, advertising platforms, referring websites, third-party maps and location services may handle information under their own privacy practices. Information held by those external services is outside All Skills College's server-side retention boundary.
10
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. Access to campaign and assessment-progress reporting is restricted to authorised users.
11
Access, correction and privacy concerns
You may contact us to request access to or correction of personal information we hold about you, or to raise a privacy concern. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
