About this course

This qualification pathway supports learners developing skills in brickwork, blockwork, site preparation, and practical construction tasks. Partner RTOs manage formal training and assessment, with All Skills College helping students understand evidence, enrolment, and delivery options.
Outcomes

Learning outcomes

Through a mixture of theory and practical course work, learn to:

Set out brick and block work accurately using levels, lines, squares and profiles
Build straight and curved walls, piers and features using correct bonding patterns and techniques
Mix and apply mortars, select materials, and manage curing and weather considerations
Interpret plans and specifications and apply tolerances and quality requirements
Work safely on-site, including manual handling, cutting, and scaffold and working-at-heights awareness
